Wild About Animals

At LSC’s Wild About Animals celebration, you can let a butterfly land gently on your finger in the Butterfly House or watch chicks peck their way into the world in the Chick Hatchery (mid-April). When members of the Honky Tonk Ranch visit from March 27 – April 7, you can pet a fuzzy alpaca, sheep, donkey, or rabbit. On April 13 – 14, Two By Two Animal Haven will bring a kangaroo joey, a colorful parrot, and more animal friends!

There will also be meet-and-greets with LSC animals, science demonstrations, an animal scavenger hunt, special theater and planetarium shows, and more surprises throughout the month!
