’Twas the Night Before Christmas: Carols & A Reading
The Young People’s Chorus of NYC will bring holiday cheer to a beloved century-old tradition at the Church of the Intercession in Upper Manhattan when they perform festive carols as part of an enchanting evening that includes a dramatic reading of Clement Clarke Moore’s classic poem by NY1 News anchor Errol Louis, followed by a magical lantern procession with St. Nicholas through the historic Trinity Cemetery and Mausoleum.
This free community event celebrates the legacy of Moore, who penned the cherished poem in 1822 as a gift to his six children. Following the cemetery service in his memory, guests are invited to a warm reception.
