Touch-A-Truck

NYC’s favorite family street fair returns to PS 295. Cool vehicles, food trucks, kids crafts and activities, music and more! The FTA of PS 295 – The Studio School of Arts & Culture – will present the eleventh annual Touch-a-Truck Brooklyn event.

At this unique street fair, NYC kids and families will get up close and personal with a wide variety of special vehicles including: emergency trucks, service vehicles,
construction equipment, luxury vehicles, and more. Food trucks, bouncy houses, music, and more round out the day. Touch-a-Truck Brooklyn is a fundraiser to support academic, arts and enrichment programs at PS 295.

Confirmed Vehicle Participants: Volvo XC90 SUV, Gentle Giant Moving Truck,  The Junkluggers Dump Truck,  NYC DEP Vactor Truck ,  PSVAC Ambulance,  Sprague Energy Fuel Truck,  NYPD Police Cruiser,  MyToolRental Construction Vehicle, SRM Concrete Cement Mixer,  Interstate Waste Services Garbage Truck,  Brooklyn Public Library Kidsmobile + crafts table, NYC DOT Trucks Eye View, FDNY Fire Safety Education Unit and more!

Food will be available from Mexique Cafe Brooklyn South Slope,  Yankee Doodle Dandy’s,  Van Leeuwen Ice Cream and more!

Activities: Live DJ, scavenger hunt, bouncy house zone, face painting and more!

Presented annually since 2011, Touch-a-Truck Brooklyn draws more than 3,000 guests each year. The event is staged along the entire length of a city block as well as interior and exterior spaces at PS 295 with a variety of activities to ensure a great day for all.
