Theatresports: Family Improv

Freestyle Repertory Theatre returns to the Gallery Players with their legendary brand of spontaneous, comedic theatre. This zany ensemble of professional actors presents improvisational theatre as a competitive sport. The audience gives suggestions, often performs with the company on stage, and decides the outcome of the game. It’s a different show every time and fun for adults, as well as children.

“I had the best time…and laughed from start to finish,” says Theatre Beyond Broadway. “If you have 60 minutes to spare, Theatresports is the perfect way to spend it.” Ages 5-adult.

Kids (and their parents!) may recognize some of the actors. Freestyle Rep has been teaching improv and Shakespeare in public schools in Park Slope since 2006 – and in the tri-state area since 1988!
