The National Arts Club is thrilled to announce the return of its third annual Community Day, a free event that invites the public to explore the world of art and enjoy a day filled with live music, family activities, and more! Visitors are invited to explore the National Arts Club’s galleries, featuring the current exhibition titled “In a New Light: American Impressionism 1870–1940 | Works from the Bank of America Collection.” This landmark exhibition showcases masterpieces of American Impressionist art and includes works from 13 artists who were themselves Artist Life Members of the NAC.  In addition to the galleries, Community Day offers an exciting schedule of activities.

Arts and Crafts Kids Corner, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Unleash your creativity with hands-on arts and crafts activities. Families and kids of all ages are invited to create their own one-of-a-kind painting smocks and photo frames to decorate and take home. Don’t forget to stop by the floating polaroid station to capture an adorable photo keepsake! Brought to you by Curated Care.

Music on the Stoop, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Head outside the NAC for a captivating live performance featuring multi-instrumentalist Dennis Lichtman and his band. Enjoy an hour of soulful tunes and musical fun in the heart of Gramercy Park.

This will be an outdoor performance. Alternative plans will be made in case of inclement weather. Seating cannot be provided.

Location:

15 Gramercy Park South
