Church-Flatbush Community Alliance

On Dec. 2 from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m., the Church-Flatbush Community Alliance (CFCA) will be launching a caroling stroll along Church Avenue and Flatbush Avenue. Expect to hear the melodies of carolers (courtesy of Watoto Entertainment) starting from Suzy’s Roti Parlour on 907 Church Ave., taking a break at the McDonald’s on 943 Flatbush Avenue, with scheduled stops for treats along the way. Children, teens, and adults should look forward to Dec. 2 and Dec. 9 for some holiday fun!

Visitors are welcome to walk with the carolers, and we will be handing out hot chocolate to keep warm during the December chill.

Join us on Dec. 9 for the inaugural Lighting of the Flatbush Community Tree and Meet Soca Santa Event all outside the newly renovated Flatbush Reformed Church at 890 Flatbush Ave. (the intersection of Church Avenue and Flatbush Avenue)!

Meet Santa from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. followed by the tree lighting at 6 p.m. Make sure to bring the whole family for the opportunity to take pictures with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, dance to Soca and holiday music, and participate in the lighting ceremony!

This initiative is supported by the NYC Department of Small Business Services, Council Member Rita Joseph, Assemblymember Rodneyse Bichotte Hermelyn, Assemblymember Brian Cunningham, MetroPlusHealth, News 12 Brooklyn, and Flatbush Reformed Church.
