Students from the School of American Ballet –the official school of New York City Ballet — and faculty member Katrina Killian offer a sneak peek inside the classroom to see how students train to become professional ballet dancers. Guests of all ages will learn a few steps right from their seats before seeing advanced SAB students perform excerpts from classical ballets in costume to live music. This hour-long program concludes with an engaging Q&A with audience members. Don’t miss this enchanting introduction to the art of ballet.
