Sugar Hill Kids are Lit! with author Doro Globus

Who are artists? Why do they make art? Join acclaimed children’s author Doro Globus to answer those questions and more with her new book I Am An Artist! After a reading and presentation of the book, we will explore materials and tools artists use and create our artworks – What type of artist are you, and what forms will your art take? Children and families explore their creativity with a variety of materials such as wire, paper, collage, fabric, found objects, markers, oil pastels, and more. The finished works will be displayed in a “gallery,” so kids will also learn to be curators!
