Storytime with the Symphony 2026
Storytime with the Symphony is a three-concert bilingual (English–Spanish) family concert series that brings children’s books to life through live music and storytelling. Designed for young audiences and their families, each performance features live chamber music, interactive narration, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
Each concert highlights a different instrumental family and story, creating thoughtful connections between music, literature, and themes familiar to children growing up in Washington Heights.
The series is presented by Diego Chiri, a Latinx artist based in Washington Heights, and is recommended for children ages 1–10 and their caregivers.
