Spring Open House
The Metropolitan Opera – together with Mythik Camps – presents this season’s special Spring Open House for families, a one-day-only event just before the May 19 matinee performance of Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice.
Designed as an immersive quest experience, this event invites young operagoers and families to explore the Greek mythology through extraordinary and classic tale of Orpheus and Euridice. Families will search for clues, complete missions, and participate in mythology-inspired activity stations around the legendary opera house, led by members of the Met’s staff and Mythik Camps teaching artists.
Following the performance, attendees are invited to stick around for a special onstage Q&A with members of the cast featuring questions submitted by Open House attendees.
