Spooky Science and Family Movie Night – Disney’s Coco
The Cradle of Aviation Museum’s Spooky Science Night returns with a variety of spooky STEM activities and a special screening of Disney’s Coco! You can explore the museum galleries, make-and-take spooky STEM activities, and enjoy trick-or-treat goody bags. Then, watch Disney’s Coco in the theater – they’ll even provide snacks! Costumes Encouraged!
5:00 pm – 7:00 pm – Explore the galleries, Spooky Science STEM activities, and trick-or-treat goody bags.
7:00 pm – Head to the theater for Disney’s Coco. Despite his family’s ban on music, young Miguel dreams of becoming a musician like his idol Ernesto de la Cruz. In the colorful Land of the Dead, Miguel and a charming trickster named Héctor embark on a journey to uncover the real story behind Miguel’s family history.
STEM Activities Include:

Skeleton Marionette: Assemble your marionette and see how your muscles, bones, and joints allow you to walk around.
Gallery Ofrendas: Walk through the galleries to see ofrendas remembering aviators, engineers, astronauts, and more!
Circuit Lantern: Dia de los Muertos is for remembering—create a safe, simple circuit lantern to light your ofrenda!
Papel Picado: Cut your geometric designs and patterns to create this traditional decoration.
Chromatography Flowers: Discover all the colors hidden within a marker when creating these flowers.
