SLEEPY HOLLOW brings to life the famous Halloween tale of Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman, set against the backdrop of a harvest festival. With weekly events for both kids and adults – including costume parties and spooky movies – suitable for all ages, it’s the ideal spot for a weekend family outing or kid-friendly afternoon activity – no rental car or upstate travel required. Upon entry to the underground world of SLEEPY HOLLOW, guests step right into Washington Irving’s timeless tale, Sleepy Hollow, where they’ll experience the colonial history of 19th-century Hudson Valley folklore and the magic of autumn. The journey takes guests through eight rooms:

The Sleepy Hollow Harvest: a warm welcome with freshly pressed apple cider and characters dressed in Sleepy Hollow garb

The Hollows: use blacklights to uncover ancient tales scrawled on tree trunks while whispered narration from Washington Irving fills the space

The Cornfield: explore winding turns and unexpected surprises in a lifelike golden cornfield

Ichabod’s Enchanted Grove: play and jump in a toadstool-themed bounce house

The Witch’s Hearth: nosh on herbal concoctions and treats while sitting beside a crackling fire and hearing spine-tingling tales from Irving

The Haunted Tunnel: brace for the Headless Horseman’s fateful midnight ride as stormclouds gather across the ceiling above
