Shrek The Musical KIDS! | Youth Musical Theater Program (Ages 7–14)

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts presents Shrek The Musical KIDS, a musical theater performance program for young performers ages 7–14, running February 28 through April 13, 2026.

This engaging program introduces students to the fundamentals of musical theater through acting, singing, and movement as they rehearse and bring a beloved fairy-tale story to life. Rehearsals take place primarily on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 9:00am–12:00pm, making it easy for families to plan around school schedules. As the program approaches its conclusion, a few extended rehearsals are added to support final preparation.

The experience culminates in a fully staged live performance on Monday, April 13 at 7:00pm on the Bay Street Theater stage — a memorable moment for students and families alike.

Designed for performers of all experience levels, this program emphasizes confidence, creativity, collaboration, and the joy of storytelling in a supportive, professional environment.
