Purim Sweets From Around the World, Sunday, 11:00 am & 12:00 pm : You probably can recognize the Hamentaschen, the triangular filled pastries central to the holiday of Purim, but did you know that there are many different types of sweet treats that are eaten in celebration of Purim around the world?
Join CMOM staff in learning about many different types of sweets originating in Iraq, France, Morocco, and Spain, and create your own date-based no bake Purim candy!
Dressup for Purim: Hero or Villain?, Sunday, March 1, 11:15 am – 12:15 pm & 2:45 pm – 3:45 pm and Tuesday, 2:45 pm – 3:45 pm, Ages 4 & younger: Explore the different costume materials. Put on the costume materials to create your character. Will you dress up as a hero or a villain?
Gold Crown and Haman Hat Making Sunday, 2:00 pm – 4:15 pm and Tuesday, 10:30 am – 12:30 pm & 2:00 pm – 4:15 pm, ages 5 and older: During Purim, families enjoy playing dress up and playing pretend. Create your own paper crown or Haman hat and take turns pretending to be villains and heroes!
