Process Art: Paint Your Story

This event will take place in person. Bring your little artist to the library as we explore open-ended ways to promote early learning through art and share fun ideas for creating with little ones at home. Young artists will use painting supplies to explore their creativity and imagination. We’ll also share a short, engaging story related to art to spark inspiration and support early literacy development. Caregivers will receive recommendations on picture books and read-alouds with art themes to keep the creativity—and reading—going at home!

Este evento se llevará a cabo en persona. Traiga a su pequeño artista a la biblioteca mientras exploramos maneras abiertas de promover el aprendizaje temprano a través del arte y compartimos ideas divertidas para crear con los pequeños en casa. Los jóvenes artistas usarán materiales de pintura para explorar su creatividad e imaginación. También compartiremos una historia corta y atractiva relacionada con el arte para despertar la inspiración y apoyar el desarrollo temprano de la alfabetización. Los cuidadores recibirán recomendaciones sobre libros ilustrados y lecturas en voz alta con temas de arte para mantener la creatividad y la lectura en casa.
