Carolers kick off the celebration singing traditional holiday songs on the south side of the Camellia Greenhouse succeeded by Santa Claus lighting the magnificent thirty-five-foot Japanese Umbrella Pine at 6:00pm. Afterwards, you can visit with Santa in the Planting Fields Hay Barn until 7:30 pm. Patrons can also view the gorgeous poinsettia display in the Main Greenhouse which will feature over 20 varieties of poinsettias. The grounds are open for exploring until 8:00pm. Most of the festivities for the Tree Lighting take place outside, so please dress accordingly.
