Experience the healing power of music at “Nicholas Phan: A Well-Being Concert,” a special program in Carnegie Hall’s Well-Being Concert series presented at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. Star tenor Nicholas Phan performs vocal works by J. S. Bach and Buxtehude, joined by musicians from Theotokos, a renowned New York City sacred ensemble described as “the living embodiment of a baroque church ensemble,” under the direction of Doug Balliett. Hosted by National Humanities Medal recipient and Peabody Award–winning journalist, author, and radio host Krista Tippett, this immersive evening invites audiences to relax into the Cathedral’s timeless acoustics with a variety of casual seating options, including mats, cushions, and chairs available on a first-come, first-served basis.
