NCMA Lunar New Year Celebration

Enjoy a vibrant celebration of art, music, and culture to usher in the Lunar New Year and honor the rich creative contributions of Chinese culture. This event is a collaboration between the museum and the Department of Asian Affairs for Nassau County. Activities will include crafting Year of the Snake stick puppets at the Manes Art and Education Center, as well as an exhibition featuring children’s artwork inspired by the Lunar New Year theme. Before or after artmaking, head to the museum/mansion to see performances by talented dancers and musicians from the Asian community, organized by the Department of Asian Affairs.
