String Quartet at Music in a digital age 8.19.2023_029 1200×675

The Bronx Arts Ensembleโ€™s 51st season, ๐˜ˆ ๐˜๐˜ฐ๐˜ค๐˜ถ๐˜ด ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜๐˜ถ๐˜ฎ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ ๐˜Š๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ๐˜ช๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ, examines all the rituals and experiences that make us human. Tik Tok and other social media platforms have given the everyday person the opportunity to โ€œromanticizeโ€ their life by making a quick video and adding musicโ€“ and curiously, a lot of classical music has made the cut. The BAE string quartet will perform various โ€œTik Tokโ€ popular songs, works that were promoted by the composer on social media, and unjustly forgotten works that have found their way back into the canon through social media. Works by Max Richter, Nia Imani Franklin, Ariana Grande, Joe Hisaishi, Angรฉlica Negrรณn, and William Grant Still.

700 Manida St
