Making Moves: Community Art Party

Kick off autumn with a creative energy boost at the Making Moves community art party. Dance on the High Line to a live DJ set by Saint James Joy, groove alongside our collaborative art activities led by High Line Teaching Artists, get expansive by joining a movement workshop led by New Victory Theater, check out hands-on activities with community partner Infirnity, or simply vibe to the music and experience the changing seasons on the High Line. Kids and adults alike can enjoy the creative magic. There is something for everyone.

Art activities are designed primarily for kids ages 5-10 and all ages and abilities are welcome. There will be visual instructions, tactile materials, and skilled facilitators to welcome visitors with disabilities. Instruction is primarily in English. Speakers of all languages can still participate and enjoy the art making due to the nature of the program.
