Lux Mea Spring Concert

The Lux Mea Choir is thrilled to present its annual Spring Concert, taking place at Advent Lutheran Church on May 17th and 18th. Join us for an evening of song in celebration of the season!

Each piece has been thoughtfully selected to guide listeners on a musical journey through sorrow, hope, joy, and renewal. Our program features diverse repertoire, from contemporary works by Katerina Gimon to a beloved classic by Johannes Brahms, alongside a recently revived composition by Lucrezia Orsina Vizzana, a pioneering 17th-century nun from Bologna. The concert explores a poignant Finnish-language piece by Anna Maria Kähärä, paired with a haunting setting of “She Weeps Over Rahoon” by renowned composer Eric Whitacre.
