Lola Star’s Dreamland Roller Disco

Join Lola Star’s Dreamland Roller Disco, a fabulous part of the Lakeside Roller Dance Night Series in Prospect Park! The Dreamland Roller Disco is a themed, dress-up, immersive roller-skating experience that will transport you to a glamorous retro “dreamland.” Each Lola Star event at Lakeside will have its own fantastic theme—see website to check out each night’s themes and to get tickets. 

Each of Lola Star’s Dreamland Roller Disco events at Lakeside include: 

-Retro DJs spinning the hottest dance floor grooves from the 70s to today 

-An MC narrating the glitzy spectacle as it unfolds 

-Tons of rad, Insta-worthy moments and photo opportunities 

-Birthday shoutouts (bring your birthday crew, the party is on!) 

Dress according to the theme du jour, or in whatever outfit makes you feel the most retro glam—the more glitz and sparkle, the better! Costumes are not required, but they are highly recommended for maximum fun. 

Drinks and food will be available from the Bluestone Cafe, including beer, wine, and cocktails! 

Skate rentals are included in your ticket, with up to a size 15 skate available, but attendees are welcome to bring their own roller skates. As the rink is a polished concrete surface, indoor wheels are recommended. 

Helmets, knee pads, and wrist guards are available to rent. All guests are responsible for skating safely and must sign an acknowledgement of risk release form before entering the Dreamland Roller Disco. Lockers for skater’s belongings will be available to rent. 

Doors will open at 6:30pm, and rink access will begin promptly at 7:00pm. Please arrive early if you require a skate rental, as supplies are limited. 

All ages welcome, recommended for ages 21 and older.
