Living Well, Living Strong! Free Health Fest and Fun Beats! (Community Board 2 Health Fair)

It’s the health event of the year for the community as Brooklyn Community Board 2 brings you “Living Well, Living Strong, Free Health Fest and Fun Beats,” our Fourth Annual Health Fair, hosted by Fort Greene Park Conservancy!  Come get all the services you would get an annual check-up, get tested, get covered, and get ready for a fun day in the park! There will be music, free healthy food, 40 vendors including city, state, and federal government agencies, a prostate screening truck (free PSA blood test!, not invasive), a DJ, medical professionals on site with practical services (cardiologist, dental, eye care, a clinician from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and so much more), opportunities to sign up for low cost health insurance, blood pressure testing, a panel discussion on maternal health, tennis, yoga, kids’ activities, face painting, storytime from the Brooklyn Public Library, performances by local students of P.S. 287, Diamonds Cheerleaders, Fort Greene Steppers, and so much more!
