Little Movers Go

August 5, 11 am.

This event will take place in person at Woodstock Library.

Join us to hear stories, sing songs, and get those wiggles out as you help your active child build important early learning skills. Discover ways to promote early literacy at home and meet other caregivers in the neighborhood. Best for new walkers, toddlers/or children at this developmental stage.

August 5:  Train Craft

Using colored paper, glue, and cardboard, you can help them create their own choo-choo trains. Incorporate simple shapes like circles and rectangles for wheels and cars, encouraging creativity and fine motor skills development.

August 19:  Dinosaur Day

Come and join us for Dinosaur craft where you will learn a little bit about the dinosaurs that lived before us and bring home a small dino-pal.

August 26:  Sensory Themed

Calling all 18 month to 5-year-olds! Do you enjoy jumping, dancing, playing, and singing? If so, toddler time is for you! Twice a month we will meet up to sing silly songs, dance, explore rhythm instruments, and read a story. Toddler time is a great way to socialize with other toddlers, and get ready for Kindergarten. Toddler time will always finish with a process of art craft. “Process art” is more focused on the act of painting, mixing, rolling, and exploring color than a set goal. This is a great way to encourage sensory exploration and fun.

August 27:  Dinosaur  Day

Come and join us for Dinosaur craft where you will learn a little bit about the dinosaurs that lived before us and bring home a small dino-pal.

Space is limited. Groups of 7 or more, please call in advance.
