Little Explorers Drop-Off Program

Does your child love bugs? During this session, you’ll learn about the creepy, crawly critters that live in detritus and underground! Dig through common misconceptions about invertebrates through hands-on activities, up-close encounters, and exhibit exploration. Kids get to put their animal skills to the test Sunday mornings in this early-access class! Guided by WCS Educators, kids learn about the Queens Zoo’s residents through up-close animal encounters, behind-the-scenes adventures, and themed activities. From exhibit visits to hands-on crafts to age-appropriate STEM lessons, this drop-off program makes learning fun! Grades K-5.
