Dive into the Cuban swamps as we embark on a crocodile diorama-building adventure. Let your creativity roll as you craft a three-banded armadillo puppet from the heart of Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay, and Argentina. Venture into Brazil, Argentina, and Bolivia as you bring to life the majestic pumas, llamas, and jaguars that live there.
Zapata Swamp: Cuban Crocodile Diorama: Cuban crocodiles can be found in Zapata Swamp—and in CMOM’s Inside Art Gallery! Sink your teeth into learning about these ferocious creatures and sculpt your own crocodile as part of a community diorama.
Three-banded Armadillo Puppets : In the Gran Chaco areas of Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay, and Argentina, three-banded armadillos can be spotted in grassy places. We’re bringing them to New York as we create our own little armadillo friends that coil their bodies into compact balls!
Pumas and Llamas and Jaguars, Oh My! ” Inspired by some of South America’s most recognized native animals — the llamas of Argentina, the pumas of Bolivia, and the jaguars of Brazil — create a giant paper bag puppet with fur, buttons, and mixed media materials!
