Latin Percussion Family Jam

The entire family is invited to experience Latin Percussion in all its forms and learn from the best! Grammy-winning percussionist Reinaldo DeJesus, and drummer, composer, and woodwind player Martin Vejarano come together to introduce you to the world of Latin Percussion. Latin percussion instruments have been featured in thousands of the world’s most famous, chart-topping recordings from classic salsa to classic rock. Join this music student jam, where participants will get introduced to the Congas, Maracas, Timbales, Claves, and more! No percussion experience necessary, and percussion instruments will be provided. This is an opportunity to explore the sounds, rhythms, and instruments from two of the best music teachers and music makers at Third Street. Open for all ages and abilities.
