Jazz in the Garden: Pheeroan akLaff New African Brew

Swing by the Museum’s backyard Sculpture Garden for our Jazz in the Garden series, featuring performances by some of the city’s best musicians. In October, hear innovative drummer Pheeroan akLaff pay homage to the exhibition Africa Fashion on its closing day. His project Pheeroan akLaff New African Brew takes inspiration from his time living and performing in West Africa and incorporates a range of musical styles.
