Glen Cove Veterans Day Ceremony

The City of Glen Cove, in partnership with VFW Post 347, will proudly honor Thomas McMahon, a Glen Cove native and decorated Vietnam War veteran, during its annual Veterans Day Ceremony.

Thomas McMahon’s distinguished service record includes:

Member of the 1st Infantry Division’s Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol (LRRP)

Recipient of the Purple Heart, Combat Infantry Badge, and two Army Commendation Medals

Veteran of the US Army (1966-1969), including service in South Korea and Vietnam

This special ceremony will not only celebrate Thomas McMahon’s bravery and dedication but also pay tribute to all veterans who have selflessly served our nation.
