Hampton Ballet Theatre School 15th Annual Nutcracker

The Hampton Ballet Theatre School (HBTS) is excited to present their fifteenth annual production of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s beloved Nutcracker.  The ballet is choreographed by the director of HBTS, Sara Jo Strickland. The performance features beautiful costumes designed and hand sewn by Yuka Silvera, Sara Jo Strickland, and Kate McManus. Lighting design is by Sebastian Paczynski. HBTS’ Pro Student Level 8 advanced dancers will all dance featured roles with special guest artists from New York City. The students of HBTS transport the audience to a land where angels, snowflakes and flowers dance while Clara saves the Nutcracker Prince from the evil Mouse King. The Nutcracker conjures holiday cheer for all, while celebrating in the Land of Sweets.
