Great Neck Library’s Children’s Summer Challenge kickoff!

Join us at the Great Neck Library for an exciting and fun-filled day as we kick off our Children’s Summer Challenge on June 27^th! This year’s theme is “Color Your World,” celebrating the arts.

Beginning at 10:30 a.m., we will have The Nightingale Farm Summer Singalong for young children. Children and their caregivers alike will discover unique instruments, rhythms, languages, and sounds from around the world. This program will be first come, first serve, as space allows.

At 1:00 p.m., join Sweetbriar Nature Center for an exciting animal program, “Nature’s Coloring Book.” Animals of all colors will be present as they take children along the rainbow! This program will be first come, first serve, as space allows.

To round up our day off, we will host our 2^nd annual Talent Showcase beginning at 2:00 p.m. Come and show us any talent you have. Almost anything goes! Registration for this event is only for those who wish to participate. Everyone is welcome to come and watch! We ask that performers keep their portion to seven minutes or less. Registration for the talent show will begin June 13^th.
