Global Kids 5K Run/Walk

Your donation will help provide high school students with the skills and opportunities they need to be successful in college and beyond. Currently, only 75% of NYC public high school seniors graduate each year and only 1 in 4 has skills necessary for college success; yet last year in spite of COVID and additional mental health challenges, almost 100% of GK youth graduated from high school with 85% heading to college. Funding for the College & Career Readiness program ensures youth are supported through all steps of the process, from learning about colleges and majors, to creating a college list, to applying for financial aid and scholarships, to career workshops and exploration, and so much more. City budget cuts continue to threaten these essential programs, and your donation will ensure our most vulnerable students don’t get left behind.
