This series will take place in-person at the Mott Haven Library Teen Center. Events will be first come, first served. 

Join the Mott Haven Library welcome the summer with a series of gardening programs.  With continued warm weather ahead, it’s a great time to participate in creative green programs that celebrate the natural world in our communities. Our programs aim to encourage environmental stewardship, engagement with the natural world, and an appreciation for nature.

June 6th| Plant Swap 

Come to the library to join fellow plant lovers and gardening enthusiasts in exchanging plants, books, recs, and resources for plant care best practices.

June 20th| Natural Printmaking

Contrary to popular belief, cities are full of nature too! New York City has a vast ecosystem of wildlife and plants if you learn to look in the right places. Bring some of these natural parts of city life like flowers and leaves into the library to create colorful prints.
