Free Self-Defense Class Benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association®

November 15, noon1 pm.
Free; $20 suggested donation

Join Nokado School of Self Defense for a free community self-defense class in recognition of Alzheimer’s Awareness Month. Led by Head Instructor Michael Saltzman, this one-hour workshop teaches practical techniques to promote confidence, awareness, and everyday safety. Open to individuals ages 12 and older, the class welcomes all experience levels — no prior martial arts training required. Suggested donations will be collected to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association®, the nation’s leading organization for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. The event continues Nokado’s tradition of combining martial arts with meaningful community service, inspired by Mr. Saltzman’s mission to honor his late father, who passed away from dementia.
