Free Comic Book Day!

Calling all comic book fans from the comics curious to the lifelong devotees!! It’s time for Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) on May 3rd, 2025! Our 2024 event had over 500 hundred attendees from all over the region, and we anticipate even higher numbers this year.

On FCBD, Multiverse will be giving away a selection of FREE comics to all visitors, while supplies last. These comics will be a great introduction to new series, characters, and publishers for all ages. Whether you’re a seasoned comic book reader or just discovering the magic of comics for the first time, FCBD is the perfect opportunity to explore the vast and exciting world of graphic storytelling.

In addition to the free comics, there also will be the opportunity to get a flash tattoo of a DC or Marvel character–right in the store–from the artists at Kadillac Tattoo Mt Airy. Additionally. neighboring  businesses Artist & Craftsman Supply will be offering the opportunity for people to come draw their own comic book in premade booklets using their supplies.
