Free Canoe Rides on Newtown Creek

The Community Canoeing Public Paddle series is back in Oct for their LAST paddle of the 2025 season! At these FREE, informal paddles, NBCB welcomes walk-up participants (NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED) to join trained NBCB canoe guides for 20-30 minute trips on Newtown creek in our 29 foot voyageur canoes. Paddle out toward the East River and take in views of Manhattan before paddling deeper into the creek, a very rewarding experience!

You can DROP BY ANYTIME between 12pm and 3:30pm (last trip leaves at 3:30pm).

This is a family friendly event, kids are welcome.
