Free Bird Storytime

Christine Mott will be at Greenlight Bookstore for a storytime to celebrate the release of her new book Free Bird: Flaco the Owl’s Dreams Take Flight. Free Bird is an inspiring picture book for children ages 4-8, celebrating the life of Flaco the owl who famously escaped the Central Park Zoo in 2023 after living his whole life in captivity. Christine Mott wrote this book in honor of Flaco’s plight for freedom and to help cultivate empathy for all animals.

At the event, there will be a storytime, owl crafts & family fun provided by Plant Powered Kids. This event is free and open to the public. Copies of Free Bird will be available for sale.
