Forest Hills Memorial Day Parade

Join the community to honor our servicemembers who made the ultimate sacrifice. The day begins with opening ceremony at 11 AM, and the Parade steps off at 12 PM from the Post on 107- 15 Metropolitan Ave. The Parade route proceeds west on Metropolitan Ave., turns right on Alderton St., and ends at the Remsen Family Cemetery. After the final marchers reach the cemetery, there will be a very brief wreath-laying ceremony. For over 60 years, it has been a tradition in the community during Memorial Day weekend to honor  local veterans and all Servicemembers who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Rain or shine.
