Forest Fridays
Volunteer as a family to remove species like multiflora rose, bittersweet, and porcelain berry to make space for native plants to thrive. Your hands-on efforts will support the regeneration of this 640-acre urban ecosystem for generations to come. This is real forest work! Expect uneven terrain and encounters with thorny plants, poison ivy, and ticks. You’ll be guided on safety and awareness — please dress accordingly and check for ticks after your shift. Ages 15 and older.
