February Break for Art

Enjoy three days of family art making inspired by the art on view in the museum’s exhibition Real, Surreal, and Photoreal. A different project will be offered each day. Create with us for one, two, or all three days.

Tuesday – Surreal Sculptures: Get inspired by the inventive art of Man Ray! Use fabric and wire to design your own sculpture that twists reality!

Wednesday – Imagination Machines: Get inspired by the bold comic book style of Roy Lichtenstein! Use paper, cardboard, and drawing materials to build your own storytelling machine: a scrolling pop art creation that brings your ideas to life!

Friday–Artful Books: Inspired by Jean Lowe’s playful sculptures, design and decorate your own witty, colorful “book” that looks ready to leap off the shelf!
