February Break at the Fish Hatchery

Spend the break at the Hatchery with a variety of activities including mosaic art, ice painting, slime making, trout demos, animal encounters, and more.

Monday: Winter Wonderland Mosaic- Create your own mosaic of an animal that loves the cold weather.

Tuesday: Paint With Ice- Create an artistic masterpiece with ice paint.

Wednesday: Slimy Science-Learn why slime is important to animals while making your own gooey slime.

Thursday: Homemade Playdough- Make your very own homemade playdough. Use the Hatchery’s animals as your inspiration and get creative.

Friday: 11am Hatchery Tour, Learn how the Hatchery cares for the fish in the trout hatchery.

1pm & 3pm, Trout Feeding Demonstrations- Watch the trout jump and splash as they devour a special diet of fish food.

2pm, Live Animal Encounter- Learn about the Hatchery’s reptiles and amphibians.
