Farmhouse Family Day: Working with Wood

Celebrate Earth Day by learning all about trees this Family Day! We’ll explore characteristics of wood as we create our own personalized wooden coasters. Investigate the many wooden tools in our historic house and stick around for spring activities on the farm. We’ll have coloring, toys and games, a reading nook, and composting, so bring your food scraps along!

Other things to know:

• Family Day runs from 11am to 3pm, with the wooden coaster activity beginning at 1pm. This is an all ages event, ideal for kids ages 4-10.
• Dress warmly – Family Day takes place indoors and outdoors.
• We recommend using the restroom before your arrival. There is one port-o-san on the property.
• The NYRP tree giveaway is a separate event from 2pm-4pm – registration details coming soon!
