Family Program | ARCHITECTURE QUEST

Drop-in at the museum on the second Saturday of each month for hands-on family activities. In March, embark on a scavenger hunt through the Making Home—Smithsonian Design Triennial galleries and discover how architects tackle challenges like weather, materials, and tiny spaces. Afterward, try architectural mini-challenges inspired by the exhibition with one of our upcoming Family Programs.
Family activities are designed for youth ages 5–12 and their adult guardians. Family programs are included in museum admission, and youth 18 and under are free. Explore Making Home with our Kids Gallery Guide available on-site.
