Family Garden Tour and Seed Mosaic

To celebrate the exhibition, Nora Thompson Dean Lenape Teacher and Herbalist, families are invited to take a special tour of the Morgan Garden and see plants important to the Lenape, including corn, squash, beans, and amaranth. Participants will learn about the life cycle of plants, how seeds are preserved, and participate in making a seed mosaic. This program will be led by Joe Baker, co-founder and executive director of The Lenape Center, and K Greene, Seed Growing Program Manager for The Hudson Valley Farm Hub.
