Family Day: Celebrating Black History Month

February 25, noon5 pm.
Pay-What-You-Wish admission. Suggested $6-$8; free for children 12 and younger

Celebrate Black History Month with an afternoon of tours, art-making, and our Black History Month Children’s Film Program at Family Day!

This month the Museum is foregrounding the past, present, and future contributions of Black Americans. They’ll be screening two short films and two feature-length films that foreground Black protagonists and legacies, and get there before or after for drop-in art making workshops for a dive into Afro Futurism.

Visitors are encouraged to arrive 5-10 minutes before for the start of the screening. RSVP is not necessary, but entry to screenings will close 10 minutes after the movie has begun.
