Ed Center 9th Birthday Celebration

Celebrate the Environmental Education Center’s 9th birthday with a day full of celebratory activities, crafts and all the feels needed to ensure the best birthday yet.

In addition to exploring the unique educational exhibits and animals inside the Environmental Education Center, enjoy the following outdoor activities:
2:00 PM: Nature Walk with NYC Parks Urban Park Rangers
3:00 PM: Storytime with Brooklyn Public Library at Pebble Beach
4:00 PM: Kid’s Bingo (with prizes!)

All day activity stations by local partners:
NYC Park Rangers: Explore and examine a table of biofacts and preserved specimens
Solar 1: Harness the power of the sun with interactive solar circuits
Battery Park: Become a Zero Waste Hero and put your recycling-sorting skills to the test
