Downtown Riverhead’s Halloween Fest

Downtown Riverhead is annually turned into a Halloween hometown during the month of October, when streets are lined with goblins, ghouls, tricks and treats! Dress the whole family in costume and head downtown for the festivities!

2PM COFFIN RACES: Coffin Races will fly down Griffing Avenue kicking off downtown Riverhead’s annual Halloween Fest, hosted by the Riverhead Business Improvement District. Crowds line the street to cheer on Ghoulies (5-12 years) and Zombies (12+) as they race their custom “coffins” and compete for cash prizes!
