Día de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Family Celebration

Families are invited to celebrate Dia de los Muertos at this special event at The Heckscher Museum in collaboration with the Town of Huntington Hispanic Advisory Task Force! On Saturday, Oct. 28, Enjoy learning about this special holiday and how it is celebrated around the world. Create colorful paper flowers, sugar skulls, frames, and more. Bring something special to leave at our altar, to honor and remember loved ones.

On Sunday, Oct. 29 and Thursday, Nov. 2, the Museum will have an altar in the lobby to welcome spirits back to the realm of the living! Please bring something colorful to leave in honor of a loved one, past or present.
