Concert: Sounds of Freedom with the Eyal Vilner Big Band

The Eyal Vilner Big Band is back on Eldridge Street with all the brass swing and jazz tunes to carry us into spring! Join the Museum at Eldridge Street’s historic Main Sanctuary for a concert centered around the connections between the Jazz Movement and Jewish music, culture, and values. The connecting theme is FREEDOM–tying in nicely with the Passover season.
Eyal and his band will perform his original compositions as well as his new arrangements of jazz classics. Their music, which derives from traditional jazz, swing, and the blues, brings a unique sound to this beautiful and liberating art form.
