Concert for Canines and Their Companions
In honor of National Dog Week (September 22-28), the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center (AMC), the world’s largest veterinary teaching hospital and NYC’s only Level 1 Veterinary Trauma Center, will celebrate the fur-ever bond between humans and their dogs with a special event, “Concert for Canines and Their Companions.” AMC is offering a moment for both humans and their four-legged friends to unwind to relaxing music and spend quality time together. Hosted by The Usdan Institute for Animal Health Education at AMC, this free, feel-good event will take place outdoors with an enchanting performance from the Highline String Quartet starting at 5 pm, featuring a blend of classical and contemporary music. In addition, attendees can pick up helpful pet health information, create keepsakes with their furry companions at the photo booth, and try their luck at some fun giveaways to round out the paws-itively perfect afternoon.
